Dr Ng Poh Leng obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1984. She then served in the Institute of Dental Health and Queenstown Polyclinic for the next 2 years. In 1986, together with her husband, Dr Pang Chin Heng, they founded Pang & Ng Dental Surgery Pte Ltd.

Dr Ng has a keen interest in orthodontics, restorative dentistry and areas of dentistry that help to alleviate pain and restore self-esteem. She has a soft spot for the vulnerable and marginalized in society and is heavily involved in palliative dentistry in Singapore and preventive care in her mission work overseas. She has led multiple dental mission trips to Cambodia and Vietnam where she solicited local dentists' collaboration in her pursuit to achieve good dental care for the residents in these remote regions. Locally she volunteers her service on a weekly basis at the hospice and community outreach dental clinic.

Dr Ng’s vision of dentistry is a healthcare vocation where compassion matches the passion of the craft. She firmly believes that all dental work provided should be an outflow of genuine care for the patient.
