What Are Dental Veneers?
Dental Veneers are a procedure done whereby thin layers of porcelain/composite (resin) are cemented on your teeth to correct the colour, shape, size and sometimes angulation of teeth. Patients mainly request veneers if they have gaps in between their teeth/ want to correct the colour of their teeth if teeth whitening does not help, or if they find their teeth too small to fit their smile. If you’re considering teeth veneers, the veneer cost may vary depending on the material and number of teeth involved.
When Should You Consider Veneers?

Change the shape, size, minor angulation of teeth

Heavily worn down teeth

Multiple failures of huge fillings

FAQs
How long do dental veneers last?
Porcelain dental veneers are more durable and usually last at least 10 years or more, while composite (resin) veneers are cheaper but last about 3 to 5 years before they may start to wear or discolour.
Are teeth veneers permanent?
Dental veneers are considered a long-term solution. Porcelain veneers are more durable, but both porcelain and composite veneers may eventually need replacement due to wear or damage.
What affects the veneers' cost?
The cost of veneers depends on the number of teeth treated and the type of veneers. Porcelain veneers typically cost more than composite resin veneers.
Our doctor will provide a personalised cost estimate after the assessment.
What is the difference between porcelain and composite dental veneers?
Porcelain veneers are stronger, don’t discolour easily, and last longer. Composite (resin) veneers are less expensive and quicker to apply, but tend to wear down and discolour faster.
When should I consider dental veneers?
Veneers are an ideal option for heavily discoloured teeth, teeth that need shape or size changes, worn-down teeth, or if you have gaps between teeth that you want to fix.
Our doctor will assess your teeth and advise if veneers are a good fit for you.
